After spending her childhood visiting her many relatives in Fort Lauderdale she fell in love with her mother's hometown and decided to move to the area. A few of those relatives she visited were members of the Hodges family. Her grandmother is the sister-in-law of the late R.T. Hodges, founder of Hodges and Sons Real Estate, as well as his licensed personal assistant for over 40 years. Kim is proud to continue her grandmother's footsteps in working with the Hodges in the real estate business.

Kim began her real estate career after graduating from La Grange College in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree. She started out preparing real estate closings for an attorney in Atlanta. Afgter several years, she decided she wanted to be more involved in the real estate sales process with the buyers and sellers and became a full-time Realtor.
